Misforstå meg rett, jeg ønsker alt godt for Sana, men jeg er ikke overbevist om at hun og Yousef er perfekte for hverandre. Jeg syns faktisk det er utrolig bra og tøft gjort, men jeg har aldri vært av de som har heia på Noora og William da;) Deres story ble litt for klisje for meg rett og slett. Recently I have seen some of theories about Vilde’s mother or why she wouldn’t want someone to come over/ host a pregame or a meeting and that she may be abused at home.
There is something from therapy I can remember when I told my therapist about my worries concerning my friend with an eating disorder ( we have already learned about Vilde’s during the last seasons ) and she told me that an eating disorder mostly results from a “difficult, painful or deeply disturbed or troubled relationship between the mother and her child”.
So all the theories about Vilde being (at least mentally) abused may be true.
Maybe her mother screams and yells at her lot.
Maybe her mother tells her daughter how much she’s doing wrong and that she is disappointed.
Maybe she insults her daughter.
Maybe she doesn’t care if someone is around and still treats her daughter like mentioned above.
We don’t know yet, and I hardly doubt we’ll ever get to know it either, but if someone looks for a further explanation or evaluation this post may help you.
And with that, assuming this is the truth Vilde has a little bit more of my respect. Because staying strong and trying to take some responsibility while being mentally ill and/or abused is a lot.
I love my strong and independent Girls Squad.
In series four Anyway all 20 of those girls we’re all in white, with similar hair styles, which made them all look the same…meanwhile Noora, Vilde, Eva, and SANA being the most opposite of all was showing that these girls are set apart. They are something special, they have something that marks them different. They aren’t just followers.
Especially since we haven’t really seen SanaSo Vilde is the only one who didn’t answer to Sana’s messages. Her pic in the corner shows, that she did see the convo, but she chose not to participate. She was the one most excited about the russebuss, but now she doesn’t even bother answering.
I think she’s pretty hurt about Sana just throwing her to the side, and I totally understand that. Sana was also pretty rude about her mom’s alleged wine night, and is generally talking down to Vilde.
I have a soft spot for Vilde, and I hope if her girlfriends suspect that she is lying about her mom and what’s going on at home, they act on in… Vilde kind of needs a Jonas. #BringbackJonas in that dark of makeup this season….the contrast was stark. Julie is so clever.
Vilde Lien Hellerud is the perfect example of why you can’t say ‘I’m not islamophobic, my best friend is a Muslim’ or literally any variation of it, with any minority group. BECAUSE IT DOESN’T FUCKING MATTER BITCH. You can be islamophobic, homophobic, transphobic, racist, all of that shit – even if your friend fits into one of the groups.I only want the best for Magnus and Vilde (whatever that is), but I am still high-key grossed out that I had to watch them spit coffee into each other’s mouths earlier. Just no.anyway can y’all believe that isak dated a girl in season 2 and on multiple occasions went out of his way to prove he was straight to himself and his friends and no one has any issue with him doing so because he’s gay /now/ but as soon as someone HCs vilde as a lesbian all of a sudden she can’t be because ‘we’ve only ever seen her interested in men’ when it’s literally canon that she’s kissed eva and had feelings commence because of it ..noora cares sooo much about sana it’s like ?? literally really gay ? “sure I’ll join the bus thing if sana is in!!!” “she seems cool” “sana has a soft side ??” talking to vilde : “don’t tell me what to do” to sana : “ok sure 13h55 if you wanna :D” checking in w her about her parents, caring, texting her and making plans for just the two of them… and let me remind yall we’ve had the slow motion moment too when sana arrived w chris on the boards in s1… blessed
But imagine how Sana must be feeling when Noora mentions her hypothetical marriage to Yousef if she ever converts to Islam. Despite its improbability, to Sana, Noora is a million times more likely to marry Yousef than her. This is tragic because it reinforces Sana’s alienation from her friends and pushes her to accept that she is destined to always choose between her desires and beliefs, never reaching common ground.
First of all, she is the main. She has to be kind of the center of the drama, not the pepsi-max girls… That put aside, Sana is never shy to interfere, standing up for her friends or be part of a good argument… As long as it’s not about her. She clearly doesn’t like confrontations, when they evolve around herself. She simply just ignores it and puts it aside instead of facing potential conflicts.
She won’t tell her mom about the russbuss, she avoids Sara’s questions all the time, she deletes Yousef on fb and don’t answer his messages, and doesn’t tell him why.
As much as she doesn’t want to confront Yousef, I think she would have no problem confronting William – because that’s not about her own feelings, but Noora’s. Her interfering with Noora’s love life can be her way of processing her own feelings for Yousef – like projecting them to Noora and William. It may be easier for her to deal with her own feelings through others instead of putting her own guards down.
I don’t think she does this intentionally. It’s easily a subconsciously thing she does to protect herself, and it’s easy to tell yourself that this is not about me, but only about helping a good friend.
A scenario I can see happening: The next time she has to check her email, she is still logged in to Noora’s mail. She sees an unread mail from William, and she decides to delete it, so Noora doesn’t relapse and begins to miss him again. She simply just wants to protect Noora and help her move on, but her method could cross the line.
Another scenario could be her sending William a mail from Noora, with the same intention. Make a closure. But again – even with her all good intentions, this would be wrong of her. And this would fit with the trailer where Sana trips Noora.
Experience tells us, that the protagonist will make mistakes one way or another, for then to learn from it and grow as a human.
hmmm, actually, I’ve found how Chris and Eva would fit into this theory as well. Eva is shown to be falling as well – which makes sense, she fell for penetrator Chris because Noora was with William, which lead to the girls being invited to all the cool penetrator bus parties, which especially Vilde desperately wanted to go to. one of these parties lead to Sana being pictured with the beer, a picture Chris put up on her Instagram account. done! everything and everyone fits!
I’m sort of over Noora and Vilde @ at this point. They’ve interacted with Sana the most so far, and they really haven’t noticed anything yet. Mostly, I just want to see s1 Eva back. My precious underrated queen. And Sana’s whole relationship with the girls began because of Chris. What’s their relationship now? Does Chris still hero worship Sana? I want a full circle moment.
And mostly, I want a “Girls” (Lena Dunham, i know but follow me here) style scene. In the final season, the four main girls locked themselves in a bathroom and asked if they were ever really friends. I’d love for a similar scene. The question was asked by the often forgotten friend, which in the girl squad’s case is Chris. I lowkey want her to call them out. I want the girls to all air their frustrations.
Chris: I’m sick of being forgotten. I’m sick of you acting like my relationship with Kasper didn’t matter as much.
Eva: all you guys see me as, is a drunk party girl. Yes, I like to party, but that’s not all. You guys never ask about (insert her problem here)
Noora: why do you guys have to interfere in my life. I can get over William at my own pace. I don’t need you guys to fix my life.
Vilde: you guys don’t understand how much of this Russbus thing matters to me. You just see it as a silly thing. I want to be popular. I want people to like me. I care, okay? I care so much.
And so on.
it may sound bad but i hope sana and noora drop the girls and form their own badass girl club where they wear dark and bold colors and judge everyone from the sidelines while sipping on apple chai tea and their talk won’t consist only parties and boys to hook up with
am I the only one who thinks that it would just be way too obvious, for Sara to be a bitch and kick Sana and Noora out of the buss? or in someway sabotage the buss and Sana being the boss.
i mean it’s Skam we’re talking about, not your typical teen drama. tbh i will be highly disappointed if something like that happens.
i mean i’m SO OVER the whole russ thing in general and just don’t understand why they are giving it so many precious minutes. what the hell is the point when we don’t actually get to see them being russ?? ugh. give me Yousana. and Evak. find kinda interesting that in this season, Sana’s season, we don’t have literally enough time to be sad for sana. We never experienced this before. In season 3, we were desperate as hell only for isak and noora in s2 and Eva in s1. We weren’t sad for anyone else, just for the main. We were focused on the main.
But in this season, first we were worried about even and now we are upset about noora. And from the beginning of the season I asked the same question with anger ; WHY DO I FEEL WORRIED ABOUT OTHERS? THIS IS SANA’S SEASON, WHY DO I KNOW FEEL ANXIOUS ABOUT OTHERS? and I feel so dumb that I finally understand this now. Because Sana is worried about others. This is why I feel anxious. because she feels anxious. Sana is not only fighting with her own demons, but fighting for/with others. Everyone trusts her because Sana knows™, right? She takes everyone’s problems as herselfs and be sad for them. She even can’t find enough time to be sad for herself because her friends are not doing ok. And even though this fills my heart with warm feelings, it triples the pain. Now we are sorry not only for Sana but even and noora and others. Because my girl has this huge heart that can’t stand see anyone sad
Which brings us to Sana.
She doesn’t even have Yousef in her phone.
Yes she deleted him on Facebook and might have deleted him from her phone as well. But we’ve only seen her interact with him through Facebook before this phone call. So I feel that she never had his number. Getting someone’s number feels much more personal than getting someone’s Facebook. It’s a next step in a relationship. First we add each other on Facebook. Then we get each other’s phone numbers…and then we date (because, lbh, we’ll never share our tumblrs to each other).
She’s only been chatting casually with him, through his social media. His social appearance. This public image she had of him. The assumptions she made based on appearances.
The real Yousef is still unknown. We got a glimpse of him at the end of episode 4 but that was still only breaking the surface. And her feelings for him are still unknown. She likes him. A lot. But she’s conflicted.
She liked him so much without even realising he didn’t believe in Allah. Which seems like a big part of someone’s identity. It’s certainly a big part of Sana’s.
the more I really wish Julie had taken this opportunity to replace Noora’s role this season with (girl) Chris.
Noora is one of my top favorite characters and I love her so much, but by giving Chris that role this season we would’ve been able to see so much more depth to Chris than her current stereotypical “fat” funny girl role. We could’ve heard about her relationship with Kasper and whether she’s moved on, how she may also feel like an “other” in their friend group because she’s not as vocal or involved, body positivity, etc.
She would’ve been so understanding and such a good listener with Sana, I truly believe that, and she could’ve been Sana’s ally in investigating these shady Pepsi Max girls.
I know she likes to party, but I feel like she’s being reduced to just another overweight funny party girl who contributes nothing more than comic relief (or silence when it comes to standing up for Sana), and we all know she’s capable of doing so much more than that. We also know that Noora would have had plenty of screen time regardless.
Hopefully, the rest of the season gives us a bit more character development for everyone, especially Chris. My fingers are crossed.

Boy Squad vs Balloon Squad
Genuinely I don’t think the Balloon Squad beat Isak out of homophobia or some bs. When Elias noticed Even on stage he seemed shocked but not angry. And we didn’t see Mikael so he must have gone outside. My theory – and many of you probably have already said it: Maybe Even went out to talk to Mikael. And as we saw in prior episodes Isak had a special (maybe jealous?) interest regarding their relationship. So what probably happened was that Isak saw them talk or maybe argue and went in on Mikael, Elias and the rest noticed, didn’t even think twice and went to help their bro and attacked Isak. Which of course got the Boy Squad involved. No biggie. They all will survive. I’m not worried for these two squads.
Vilde and the Pepsi Max Bitches
I don’t know about Vilde man.. she got me mad f*cked up. I always think back to Sana fighting with the Pepsi Max hoes just for talking bad about Vilde in S1 and her being the only one to believe in Vilde’s strength in S2. And Vilde keeps being judgmental. To the point where she talks shit about precious Sana with the enemies. Im so disappointed. The betrayal. The Backstab. Sana doesn’t deserve this. Vilde is obviously hiding something about her family, maybe they are next level racist or something. I honestly don’t know. Vilde is an aweful friend.
The Pepsi Max bitches are just plain islamophobic and heartless and excluding our sunshine. No excuse. They deserve to burn.
Noora
On the one hand I feel like its not her fault that she kissed Yousef to get over William. She didn’t know about Sana and him right? But on the other I feel like what a bad friend she has to be not to know. At no point did she ever ask Sana (or any of the girls for that matter) if there was anyone she liked. As if she wasn’t a girl with normal feelings. Sana is just disregarded as tough and responsible, but never as a normal teenager. It annoys me so much. Yes she should have told Noora about William, but she didn’t even know for sure, it was just a rumor. Also: I liked Noora and also William (Shock!). But god does this annoy me. Their season is done, it was the longest and ended perfectly. Why butcher it. The actor playing William leaving was handled so badly. Just let it go. Noora doesn’t deserve this huge spotlight in Sana’s season. F*ck them.
Yousef
Asshole. Simple. Yes Sana and him are not dating. But bruuuh he knows that there is something and for him to go after Sanas BEST FRIEND is just disgusting. No matter what might have happened before. Even if Elias said something or if he found out about Sana unfriending him. That makes the whole thing even worse. That would make him a guy who feels the need to take revenge on a girl he had the sweetest moments with. I’d rather believe he is just a f*ckboy, who got kissed by a hot chick and couldn’t refrain himself. Either way I doubt he will be able to recover from that in the viewers or Sanas eyes. You done f*cked up Acar.
Plus: why wasn’t he helping his friends?! Why wasn’t he stopping the fight?! What are you doing bruh?! Done f*ucked up I tell you.
Sana
I feel so bad for her. I can barely put it to words. First she feels responsible for the fight between the boys. She must think, I could have known and not invited them. The blood on her hands embodied that severely. One of her best friends -Isak- got hurt. Then hearing the judgmental remarks about her family and believes. It saddens me so much that she has to always feel excluded. To hear that one of her closest friends confirmed those prejudices and that she will be thrown out of the bus. Not her group. Only Sana. Because she is different. She doesn’t fit. And she never will. And it all gets topped by seeing the one guy she ever trusted with her feeling, she ever opened up to, she had finally started to let in. To see him kiss her best friend. Its devastating. Sana doesn’t deserve this torture.
The worst is who will she talk to now? Who can she trust? Nobody. Shes alone and in pain. And after all this we know in 10 days, we will see a strong Sana, pushing away her feelings and going on to fight this battle against everyone. And it kills me.
I can’t be the only one who’s curious af to see what Elias would do, at the party tomorrow, if he sees Yousef with Noora or some other chick? now that he know for sure that Sana likes him…
Noora tripped sana
vilde falls for eva.im still thinking about how sana is 100% completely alone at the end of the episode. she can’t talk to her friends. especially noora, for obvious reasons. even more so, vilde. she can’t talk to yousef. she can’t talk to isak, because she blames herself for what happened to him. she can’t talk to elias. she is literally alone, and she is hurting for so many reasons. for the fight, for her guilt. for the racism and islamophobia she faces from the buss girls, for finding out she will be kicked out. for finding out her friend talks about her behind her back. for seeing her crush, the one person she started to take a chance on, kiss her best friend. she is hurting and she has nobody to turn to.oh i forgot vilde telling these girls that sana’s brother called her ‘slave’, not knowing the full reason as to why he did and that it was only banter only so she could talk badly about sana behind sana’s back. these girls calling sana psycho and that she’s a ‘bad representative’ of her religion, a religion they know nothing about but feel like they know more than sana..I still don’t know what all Noora knows, I still don’t know what the fight was about, and as much as I’m pissed, I still don’t know why Yousef “Anything for you, girl” Acar was seen hooking up with Noora.

ok so Skam is not about people intentionally hurting people (except Douchehelm and Nico) so here’s what i think will unfold from this clip:
1. We will find out that Noora didn’t know Sana had feelings for Yousef. Say what you want, but Noora and Yousef do have chemistry in every scene they’ve had so far and Noora made her feelings known to Sana. Sana didn’t trust her friend enough to tell her how she felt. That being said, I think Noora was being a little willfully ignorant and with the eva/jonas, isak/jonas, noora/wilhelm stealing pattern this is getting redundant and they can’t end up together, its just too boring. Noora should have dont a group text “hey does anyone like him before i smash” they all should be wise by now
2. Yousef will have to be thinking that Sana is not interested. She doesn’t ever make a point to talk to him (even at the karaoke bar!!) and defriended him on FB and even though they talked about the religion thing, it ended in a cliffhanger: “why does religion tear society apart” for which she had no answer. Finding that answer is going to be part of her character growth imo.
3. Isak has a temper, we all know this! I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he found out that Even knew balloon boys which gave him a shock (”What? my baby hiding things from me?”), and someone said something off the cuff like all the homophobic stuff we’ve forgiven Magnus for and things went off like that. I don’t think we should be shitting on Balloon Boys for no reason when we legit watched Wilhelm smash a bottle into someone’s head pretty much unprovoked and then we were all like “no he shouldn’t go to jail! you have to understand!” Also, Elias clearly has shit going on. He was blackout drunk LAST FRIDAY. Something more is going on here and we’ll find out soon enough
4. Vilde is fucking dumb, ok. She says homophobic and sexist and islamphobic things all the time and says them like they’re fact. So she probably did not realize at all that pointing out that Elias called Sana a slave would be taken so seriously/hatefully. Yeah, she needs to account for being so omfg so freaking fy faen so problematic! (her character traits are like: optimistic, problematic, airhead, organized— it’s driving me nuts). No but here. She needs to grow up. Her and Magnus are like a perfect problematic bundle, it’s a shame they’re probably breaking up, but that’s a subject for another post.
5. People have gossiped and said erroneous shit all the time on this show so I still don’t trust PepsiMax but I’m willing to bet it’s not as simple as them wanting her off the bus just like that. Also, you know fucking Chris and Eva (who’s already been burned by PM) are NOT going to take that happening to Sana without a fight. And for that matter, neither will Sana. When shit gets rough, they band together despite whatever infighting is going on. They rock. Don’t forget that. Give them a chance to have a “vilde is pregnant”/“noora was assaulted” moment with Sana.
6. Don’t worry, Isak and Even went home and snuggled and Even sang songs to cheer Isak up it’s gonna be ok for them. They’ll talk through everything about Even’s past and it will be ok.
7. Sana is strong. She’s been through shit from every person (except Chris) in every season. She’s gonna get through this kicking ass

But what reallllllly pissed me off about Yousef was his complete lack of loyalty to his friends. Regardless- the fact is that this clip has confirmed to me that something is not quite right with Yousef. At the beginning we all thought he was pure, innocent, and had a heart of gold- essentially too good to be true. That image has started to crumble.
This could be really important going forward, because who is Sana getting info from regarding Even’s split with the Balloon Squad? Yousef. The guy who I think is most decidedly shady and not quite as nice/innocent as he seems to be.
From the start, I thought it was naive for Sana (*cough* and the rest of the fandom *cough*) to accept Yousef’s story as the gospel truth, but now I’m even more skeptical of it. I would not be surprised if his story turns out to be a bunch of bullshit.

Okay but real talk who remembers in season 2 when Noora found out that Jonas had gotten a new girlfriend and kept that information from Eva because 1) she knew it would hurt and 2) she wanted Jonas to tell Eva himself? And Eva, although sad, understood why Noora did it.
I just don’t understand why Noora isn’t understanding the same situation with Sana right now, considering she’s the one who’s been in Sanas position before?
So I was thinking about how everything went to hell and how it could be possible for the girl squad to fall apart so badly and so easily after we saw them build up a friendship is the past three seasons. I personally love the small girl squad scenes we saw in s3. Specifically how Vilde and Sana always seemed like they are closer than ever before. Since that party at the end of s2, they seemed to be on really good terms.So how did things fall apart?
Then I realized, Sana is holding herself away from Vilde. Since the season started, she has shut her out.
When she asked the girls if they knew about Sara’s intentions, she specifically bypassed Vilde, assuming she’d take their side. She never gave Vilde a chance.
Now look back.Who does Vilde remind you of? Magnus! Magnus and his ignorant questions. The naive offenses he made.So far, what we have seen from Vilde was the same, she never intentionally does anything bad. She’s just a silly gossip. She talks and listens to what everyone else says, because she wants to be part of what everyone else does. I can totally imagine her making those comments about being the boss and Sana being called “slave” without any thought. She’ll probably miss how bad they sound and that’s bad but it’s still better than intentionally spreading Islamophobia.
Then putting these points aside let’s look back at Sana’s comment about Vilde in S2: “Vilde is the first one I’ll take to war with me.” and it’s a war indeed.
Here’s the thing. I don’t think girl squad knows about the PM gang’s plan. I don’t think Vilde really masterminded this.
I’m thinking maybe, despite what Sana thinks, Vilde will be the first person to turn back to Sana. When she realizes what has happened, she might take Sana’s side and leave the bus with Sana. Standing by her side.
And here’s another thing that further confirms this.By now, we have all decided that the real reverse in the trailer was the roles not the time thing. It’s quite clear that it was Noora who tripped Sana.Now take another look at the trailer. What happens next, is Vilde catches Noora and breaks her fall. going by my theory that means she actually catches Sana, breaking her fall,and losing her image, her bus, her ambition along the way. I really hope I’m right. This would be so amazing if it happens. the girl squad once again reunited, staying together against the world.
I feel like this is the only way that the girls can get back together and I want nothing more than for girl squad to go back to their nice self again.
in s3 noora was the mirror. noora, in this season more like an antithesis to sana. more accurately an aesthetic antithesis to sana. sana and noora are very similar in character and values. noora doesn’t drink, she isn’t into hooking up. she like sana is different from the squad. but and big but here noora looks like norske partyjenter therefore she is accepted. this season we have seen people like elias and the pepsi max say that sana can’t be included in a norwegian cultural coming of age mile stone while asking after noora which just highlights to the audience that it’s not sana’s values but sana as a symbol of her faith that they have problem with. i guess what i am trying to say is that noora highlights the power of privilege
I think yousef is the one who caught them kissing and made a huge deal about it, probably in the past i think he was one of those people who used islam as an exuse for homophobia causing mikael to freak out, even to freak out, and yousef and maye adam witness the almost suicide part and yousef ends up feeling soo guilty he gives up on Allah and religion, Mikeal and balloon squad probably just thinks even flaked on them and dissapeared after posting homophobic things on social media that were from the book

I feel so bad for her. I can barely put it to words. First she feels responsible for the fight between the boys. She must think, I could have known and not invited them. The blood on her hands embodied that severely. One of her best friends -Isak- got hurt. Then hearing the judgmental remarks about her family and believes. It saddens me so much that she has to always feel excluded. To hear that one of her closest friends confirmed those prejudices and that she will be thrown out of the bus. Not her group. Only Sana. Because she is different. She doesn’t fit. And she never will. And it all gets topped by seeing the one guy she ever trusted with her feeling, she ever opened up to, she had finally started to let in. To see him kiss her best friend. Its devastating. Sana doesn’t deserve this torture.
The worst is who will she talk to now? Who can she trust? Nobody. Shes alone and in pain. And after all this we know in 10 days, we will see a strong Sana, pushing away her feelings and going on to fight this battle against everyone. And it kills me.

Recently I have seen some of theories about Vilde’s mother or why she wouldn’t want someone to come over/ host a pregame or a meeting and that she may be abused at home.
There is something from therapy I can remember when I told my therapist about my worries concerning my friend with an eating disorder ( we have already learned about Vilde’s during the last seasons ) and she told me that an eating disorder mostly results from a “difficult, painful or deeply disturbed or troubled relationship between the mother and her child”.
So all the theories about Vilde being (at least mentally) abused may be true.
Maybe her mother screams and yells at her lot.
Maybe her mother tells her daughter how much she’s doing wrong and that she is disappointed.
Maybe she insults her daughter.
Maybe she doesn’t care if someone is around and still treats her daughter like mentioned above.
We don’t know yet, and I hardly doubt we’ll ever get to know it either, but if someone looks for a further explanation or evaluation this post may help you.
And with that, assuming this is the truth Vilde has a little bit more of my respect. Because staying strong and trying to take some responsibility while being mentally ill and/or abused is a lot.
I love my strong and independent Girls Squad.
In series four Anyway all 20 of those girls we’re all in white, with similar hair styles, which made them all look the same…meanwhile Noora, Vilde, Eva, and SANA being the most opposite of all was showing that these girls are set apart. They are something special, they have something that marks them different. They aren’t just followers.
Especially since we haven’t really seen SanaSo Vilde is the only one who didn’t answer to Sana’s messages. Her pic in the corner shows, that she did see the convo, but she chose not to participate. She was the one most excited about the russebuss, but now she doesn’t even bother answering.
I think she’s pretty hurt about Sana just throwing her to the side, and I totally understand that. Sana was also pretty rude about her mom’s alleged wine night, and is generally talking down to Vilde.
I have a soft spot for Vilde, and I hope if her girlfriends suspect that she is lying about her mom and what’s going on at home, they act on in… Vilde kind of needs a Jonas. #BringbackJonas in that dark of makeup this season….the contrast was stark. Julie is so clever.
Vilde Lien Hellerud is the perfect example of why you can’t say ‘I’m not islamophobic, my best friend is a Muslim’ or literally any variation of it, with any minority group. BECAUSE IT DOESN’T FUCKING MATTER BITCH. But imagine how Sana must be feeling when Noora mentions her hypothetical marriage to Yousef if she ever converts to Islam. Despite its improbability, to Sana, Noora is a million times more likely to marry Yousef than her. This is tragic because it reinforces Sana’s alienation from her friends and pushes her to accept that she is destined to always choose between her desires and beliefs, never reaching common ground.
First of all, she is the main. She has to be kind of the center of the drama, not the pepsi-max girls… That put aside, Sana is never shy to interfere, standing up for her friends or be part of a good argument… As long as it’s not about her. She clearly doesn’t like confrontations, when they evolve around herself. She simply just ignores it and puts it aside instead of facing potential conflicts.
She won’t tell her mom about the russbuss, she avoids Sara’s questions all the time, she deletes Yousef on fb and don’t answer his messages, and doesn’t tell him why.
As much as she doesn’t want to confront Yousef, I think she would have no problem confronting William – because that’s not about her own feelings, but Noora’s. Her interfering with Noora’s love life can be her way of processing her own feelings for Yousef – like projecting them to Noora and William. It may be easier for her to deal with her own feelings through others instead of putting her own guards down.
I don’t think she does this intentionally. It’s easily a subconsciously thing she does to protect herself, and it’s easy to tell yourself that this is not about me, but only about helping a good friend.
A scenario I can see happening: The next time she has to check her email, she is still logged in to Noora’s mail. She sees an unread mail from William, and she decides to delete it, so Noora doesn’t relapse and begins to miss him again. She simply just wants to protect Noora and help her move on, but her method could cross the line.
Another scenario could be her sending William a mail from Noora, with the same intention. Make a closure. But again – even with her all good intentions, this would be wrong of her. And this would fit with the trailer where Sana trips Noora.
Experience tells us, that the protagonist will make mistakes one way or another, for then to learn from it and grow as a human.
hmmm, actually, I’ve found how Chris and Eva would fit into this theory as well. Eva is shown to be falling as well – which makes sense, she fell for penetrator Chris because Noora was with William, which lead to the girls being invited to all the cool penetrator bus parties, which especially Vilde desperately wanted to go to. one of these parties lead to Sana being pictured with the beer, a picture Chris put up on her Instagram account. done! everything and everyone fits!
I’m sort of over Noora and Vilde @ at this point. They’ve interacted with Sana the most so far, and they really haven’t noticed anything yet. Mostly, I just want to see s1 Eva back. My precious underrated queen. And Sana’s whole relationship with the girls began because of Chris. What’s their relationship now? Does Chris still hero worship Sana? I want a full circle moment.
And mostly, I want a “Girls” (Lena Dunham, i know but follow me here) style scene. In the final season, the four main girls locked themselves in a bathroom and asked if they were ever really friends. I’d love for a similar scene. The question was asked by the often forgotten friend, which in the girl squad’s case is Chris. I lowkey want her to call them out. I want the girls to all air their frustrations.
Chris: I’m sick of being forgotten. I’m sick of you acting like my relationship with Kasper didn’t matter as much.
Eva: all you guys see me as, is a drunk party girl. Yes, I like to party, but that’s not all. You guys never ask about (insert her problem here)
Noora: why do you guys have to interfere in my life. I can get over William at my own pace. I don’t need you guys to fix my life.
Vilde: you guys don’t understand how much of this Russbus thing matters to me. You just see it as a silly thing. I want to be popular. I want people to like me. I care, okay? I care so much.
And so on.
it may sound bad but i hope sana and noora drop the girls and form their own badass girl club where they wear dark and bold colors and judge everyone from the sidelines while sipping on apple chai tea and their talk won’t consist only parties and boys to hook up with
am I the only one who thinks that it would just be way too obvious, for Sara to be a bitch and kick Sana and Noora out of the buss? or in someway sabotage the buss and Sana being the boss.
i mean it’s Skam we’re talking about, not your typical teen drama. tbh i will be highly disappointed if something like that happens.
i mean i’m SO OVER the whole russ thing in general and just don’t understand why they are giving it so many precious minutes. what the hell is the point when we don’t actually get to see them being russ?? ugh. give me Yousana. and Evak. find kinda interesting that in this season, Sana’s season, we don’t have literally enough time to be sad for sana. We never experienced this before. In season 3, we were desperate as hell only for isak and noora in s2 and Eva in s1. We weren’t sad for anyone else, just for the main. We were focused on the main.
But in this season, first we were worried about even and now we are upset about noora. And from the beginning of the season I asked the same question with anger ; WHY DO I FEEL WORRIED ABOUT OTHERS? THIS IS SANA’S SEASON, WHY DO I KNOW FEEL ANXIOUS ABOUT OTHERS? and I feel so dumb that I finally understand this now. Because Sana is worried about others. This is why I feel anxious. because she feels anxious. Sana is not only fighting with her own demons, but fighting for/with others. Everyone trusts her because Sana knows™, right? She takes everyone’s problems as herselfs and be sad for them. She even can’t find enough time to be sad for herself because her friends are not doing ok. And even though this fills my heart with warm feelings, it triples the pain. Now we are sorry not only for Sana but even and noora and others. Because my girl has this huge heart that can’t stand see anyone sad
Which brings us to Sana.
She doesn’t even have Yousef in her phone.
Yes she deleted him on Facebook and might have deleted him from her phone as well. But we’ve only seen her interact with him through Facebook before this phone call. So I feel that she never had his number. Getting someone’s number feels much more personal than getting someone’s Facebook. It’s a next step in a relationship. First we add each other on Facebook. Then we get each other’s phone numbers…and then we date (because, lbh, we’ll never share our tumblrs to each other).
She’s only been chatting casually with him, through his social media. His social appearance. This public image she had of him. The assumptions she made based on appearances.
The real Yousef is still unknown. We got a glimpse of him at the end of episode 4 but that was still only breaking the surface. And her feelings for him are still unknown. She likes him. A lot. But she’s conflicted.
She liked him so much without even realising he didn’t believe in Allah. Which seems like a big part of someone’s identity. It’s certainly a big part of Sana’s.
the more I really wish Julie had taken this opportunity to replace Noora’s role this season with (girl) Chris.
Noora is one of my top favorite characters and I love her so much, but by giving Chris that role this season we would’ve been able to see so much more depth to Chris than her current stereotypical “fat” funny girl role. We could’ve heard about her relationship with Kasper and whether she’s moved on, how she may also feel like an “other” in their friend group because she’s not as vocal or involved, body positivity, etc.
She would’ve been so understanding and such a good listener with Sana, I truly believe that, and she could’ve been Sana’s ally in investigating these shady Pepsi Max girls.
I know she likes to party, but I feel like she’s being reduced to just another overweight funny party girl who contributes nothing more than comic relief (or silence when it comes to standing up for Sana), and we all know she’s capable of doing so much more than that. We also know that Noora would have had plenty of screen time regardless.
Hopefully, the rest of the season gives us a bit more character development for everyone, especially Chris. My fingers are crossed.

Boy Squad vs Balloon Squad
Genuinely I don’t think the Balloon Squad beat Isak out of homophobia or some bs. When Elias noticed Even on stage he seemed shocked but not angry. And we didn’t see Mikael so he must have gone outside. My theory – and many of you probably have already said it: Maybe Even went out to talk to Mikael. And as we saw in prior episodes Isak had a special (maybe jealous?) interest regarding their relationship. So what probably happened was that Isak saw them talk or maybe argue and went in on Mikael, Elias and the rest noticed, didn’t even think twice and went to help their bro and attacked Isak. Which of course got the Boy Squad involved. No biggie. They all will survive. I’m not worried for these two squads.
Vilde and the Pepsi Max Bitches
I don’t know about Vilde man.. she got me mad f*cked up. I always think back to Sana fighting with the Pepsi Max hoes just for talking bad about Vilde in S1 and her being the only one to believe in Vilde’s strength in S2. And Vilde keeps being judgmental. To the point where she talks shit about precious Sana with the enemies. Im so disappointed. The betrayal. The Backstab. Sana doesn’t deserve this. Vilde is obviously hiding something about her family, maybe they are next level racist or something. I honestly don’t know. Vilde is an aweful friend.
The Pepsi Max bitches are just plain islamophobic and heartless and excluding our sunshine. No excuse. They deserve to burn.

On the one hand I feel like its not her fault that she kissed Yousef to get over William. She didn’t know about Sana and him right? But on the other I feel like what a bad friend she has to be not to know. At no point did she ever ask Sana (or any of the girls for that matter) if there was anyone she liked. As if she wasn’t a girl with normal feelings. Sana is just disregarded as tough and responsible, but never as a normal teenager. It annoys me so much. Yes she should have told Noora about William, but she didn’t even know for sure, it was just a rumor. Also: I liked Noora and also William (Shock!). But god does this annoy me. Their season is done, it was the longest and ended perfectly. Why butcher it. The actor playing William leaving was handled so badly. Just let it go. I feel so bad for her. I can barely put it to words. First she feels responsible for the fight between the boys. She must think, I could have known and not invited them. The blood on her hands embodied that severely. One of her best friends -Isak- got hurt. Then hearing the judgmental remarks about her family and believes. It saddens me so much that she has to always feel excluded. To hear that one of her closest friends confirmed those prejudices and that she will be thrown out of the bus. Not her group. Only Sana. Because she is different. She doesn’t fit. And she never will. And it all gets topped by seeing the one guy she ever trusted with her feeling, she ever opened up to, she had finally started to let in. To see him kiss her best friend. Its devastating. Sana doesn’t deserve this torture.
The worst is who will she talk to now? Who can she trust? Nobody. Shes alone and in pain. And after all this we know in 10 days, we will see a strong Sana, pushing away her feelings and going on to fight this battle against everyone. And it kills me.
I can’t be the only one who’s curious af to see what Elias would do, at the party tomorrow, if he sees Yousef with Noora or some other chick? now that he know for sure that Sana likes him…
Noora tripped sana
vilde falls for eva.im still thinking about how sana is 100% completely alone at the end of the episode. she can’t talk to her friends. especially noora, for obvious reasons. even more so, vilde. she can’t talk to yousef. she can’t talk to isak, because she blames herself for what happened to him. she can’t talk to elias. she is literally alone, and she is hurting for so many reasons. for the fight, for her guilt. for the racism and islamophobia she faces from the buss girls, for finding out she will be kicked out. for finding out her friend talks about her behind her back. for seeing her crush, the one person she started to take a chance on, kiss her best friend. she is hurting and she has nobody to turn to.oh i forgot vilde telling these girls that sana’s brother called her ‘slave’, not knowing the full reason as to why he did and that it was only banter only so she could talk badly about sana behind sana’s back. these girls calling sana psycho and that she’s a ‘bad representative’ of her religion, a religion they know nothing about but feel like they know more than sana..I still don’t know what all Noora knows, I still don’t know what the fight was about, and as much as I’m pissed, I still don’t know why Yousef “Anything for you, girl” Acar was seen hooking up with Noora.
But what I do know?
Fuck Vilde for going behind Sana’s back, spreading Islamophobic, vindictive misinformation about someone who has stood up for her time and time again.

ok so Skam is not about people intentionally hurting people (except Douchehelm and Nico) so here’s what i think will unfold from this clip:
1. We will find out that Noora didn’t know Sana had feelings for Yousef. Say what you want, but Noora and Yousef do have chemistry in every scene they’ve had so far and Noora made her feelings known to Sana. Sana didn’t trust her friend enough to tell her how she felt. That being said, I think Noora was being a little willfully ignorant and with the eva/jonas, isak/jonas, noora/wilhelm stealing pattern this is getting redundant and they can’t end up together, its just too boring. Noora should have dont a group text “hey does anyone like him before i smash” they all should be wise by now
2. Yousef will have to be thinking that Sana is not interested. She doesn’t ever make a point to talk to him (even at the karaoke bar!!) and defriended him on FB and even though they talked about the religion thing, it ended in a cliffhanger: “why does religion tear society apart” for which she had no answer. Finding that answer is going to be part of her character growth imo.
3. Isak has a temper, we all know this! I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he found out that Even knew balloon boys which gave him a shock (”What? my baby hiding things from me?”), and someone said something off the cuff like all the homophobic stuff we’ve forgiven Magnus for and things went off like that. I don’t think we should be shitting on Balloon Boys for no reason when we legit watched Wilhelm smash a bottle into someone’s head pretty much unprovoked and then we were all like “no he shouldn’t go to jail! you have to understand!” Also, Elias clearly has shit going on. He was blackout drunk LAST FRIDAY. Something more is going on here and we’ll find out soon enough
4. Vilde is fucking dumb, ok. She says homophobic and sexist and islamphobic things all the time and says them like they’re fact. So she probably did not realize at all that pointing out that Elias called Sana a slave would be taken so seriously/hatefully. Yeah, she needs to account for being so omfg so freaking fy faen so problematic! (her character traits are like: optimistic, problematic, airhead, organized— it’s driving me nuts). No but here. She needs to grow up. Her and Magnus are like a perfect problematic bundle, it’s a shame they’re probably breaking up, but that’s a subject for another post.
5. People have gossiped and said erroneous shit all the time on this show so I still don’t trust PepsiMax but I’m willing to bet it’s not as simple as them wanting her off the bus just like that. Also, you know fucking Chris and Eva (who’s already been burned by PM) are NOT going to take that happening to Sana without a fight. And for that matter, neither will Sana. When shit gets rough, they band together despite whatever infighting is going on. They rock. Don’t forget that. Give them a chance to have a “vilde is pregnant”/“noora was assaulted” moment with Sana.
6. Don’t worry, Isak and Even went home and snuggled and Even sang songs to cheer Isak up it’s gonna be ok for them. They’ll talk through everything about Even’s past and it will be ok.
7. Sana is strong. She’s been through shit from every person (except Chris) in every season. She’s gonna get through this kicking ass

– this compounded with sana smiling at him even though she had absolutely no ill intentions
– yousef is also lying about what happened, he had a bigger role in the drama and didn’t tell sana about it
– yousef, mad at sana and not ready to face even again, stays inside bc once again – he had a bigger role in all of this
– yousef, mad at sana, runs into noora who tells him about sana’s comments about him being immature and whatnot
– yousef, even more mad at sana, allows noora to kiss him and kisses her back
……..and there you go , lemme know what you think

Listen, seeing Yousef kiss Noora was shocking, I will grant you that.
But what reallllllly pissed me off about Yousef was his complete lack of loyalty to his friends. This man literally went up to Sana to inform her that Elias has gotten in a fight- but did he come help??? Did he offer support to his friends who were frantically trying to stop the fight???????? Did he even come out just to make sure no one was being seriously injured? Did he seem to be at all concerned that his best friend might be being beaten to a pulp?Nope. He was inside kissing Noora- who, may I remind you, he has only met and talked to about 2 times. This random girl took precedence over his best friends.
That says a lot about who he is as a friend, and who he is as a person.
Maybe I’m reaching here, but isn’t it also weird that the only time we’ve seen Elias totally shit faced was when he was alone with Yousef?
Regardless- the fact is that this clip has confirmed to me that something is not quite right with Yousef. At the beginning we all thought he was pure, innocent, and had a heart of gold- essentially too good to be true. That image has started to crumble.
This could be really important going forward, because who is Sana getting info from regarding Even’s split with the Balloon Squad? Yousef. The guy who I think is most decidedly shady and not quite as nice/innocent as he seems to be.
From the start, I thought it was naive for Sana (*cough* and the rest of the fandom *cough*) to accept Yousef’s story as the gospel truth, but now I’m even more skeptical of it. I would not be surprised if his story turns out to be a bunch of bullshit.

Okay but real talk who remembers in season 2 when Noora found out that Jonas had gotten a new girlfriend and kept that information from Eva because 1) she knew it would hurt and 2) she wanted Jonas to tell Eva himself? And Eva, although sad, understood why Noora did it.
I just don’t understand why Noora isn’t understanding the same situation with Sana right now, considering she’s the one who’s been in Sanas position before?
So I was thinking about how everything went to hell and how it could be possible for the girl squad to fall apart so badly and so easily after we saw them build up a friendship is the past three seasons. I personally love the small girl squad scenes we saw in s3. Specifically how Vilde and Sana always seemed like they are closer than ever before. Since that party at the end of s2, they seemed to be on really good terms.So how did things fall apart?
Then I realized, Sana is holding herself away from Vilde. Since the season started, she has shut her out.
When she asked the girls if they knew about Sara’s intentions, she specifically bypassed Vilde, assuming she’d take their side. She never gave Vilde a chance.
Now look back.Who does Vilde remind you of? Magnus! Magnus and his ignorant questions. The naive offenses he made.So far, what we have seen from Vilde was the same, she never intentionally does anything bad. She’s just a silly gossip. She talks and listens to what everyone else says, because she wants to be part of what everyone else does. I can totally imagine her making those comments about being the boss and Sana being called “slave” without any thought. She’ll probably miss how bad they sound and that’s bad but it’s still better than intentionally spreading Islamophobia.
Then putting these points aside let’s look back at Sana’s comment about Vilde in S2: “Vilde is the first one I’ll take to war with me.” and it’s a war indeed.
Here’s the thing. I don’t think girl squad knows about the PM gang’s plan. I don’t think Vilde really masterminded this.
I’m thinking maybe, despite what Sana thinks, Vilde will be the first person to turn back to Sana. When she realizes what has happened, she might take Sana’s side and leave the bus with Sana. Standing by her side.
And here’s another thing that further confirms this.By now, we have all decided that the real reverse in the trailer was the roles not the time thing. It’s quite clear that it was Noora who tripped Sana.Now take another look at the trailer. What happens next, is Vilde catches Noora and breaks her fall. going by my theory that means she actually catches Sana, breaking her fall,and losing her image, her bus, her ambition along the way. I really hope I’m right. This would be so amazing if it happens. the girl squad once again reunited, staying together against the world.
I feel like this is the only way that the girls can get back together and I want nothing more than for girl squad to go back to their nice self again.
in s3 noora was the mirror. noora, in this season more like an antithesis to sana. more accurately an aesthetic antithesis to sana. sana and noora are very similar in character and values. noora doesn’t drink, she isn’t into hooking up. she like sana is different from the squad. but and big but here noora looks like norske partyjenter therefore she is accepted. this season we have seen people like elias and the pepsi max say that sana can’t be included in a norwegian cultural coming of age mile stone while asking after noora which just highlights to the audience that it’s not sana’s values but sana as a symbol of her faith that they have problem with. i guess what i am trying to say is that noora highlights the power of privilege
I think yousef is the one who caught them kissing and made a huge deal about it, probably in the past i think he was one of those people who used islam as an exuse for homophobia causing mikael to freak out, even to freak out, and yousef and maye adam witness the almost suicide part and yousef ends up feeling soo guilty he gives up on Allah and religion, Mikeal and balloon squad probably just thinks even flaked on them and dissapeared after posting homophobic things on social media that were from the book
