Flere som har latt merke til at Magnus ikke bare har vært med i sesong 3? Isak og Magnus kan ha vært venner siden 1. vgs. Magnus er nemlig å finne i Deilig er jorden klippet fra sesong 1. Han er gutten i lys grå genser som Isak kommer inn sammen med på festen til Iben. Man ser tydelig ansiktet hans i scenen der de hjelper Vilde.

Jeg vil takke skuespillerne og skaperne av serien. «Skam» er svært etterspurt blant tenåringer. Han bærer en viss mening og samtidig kan du slappe av å se «Skam».

I am a girl from Spain, I found the wonderful Skam randomly on the internet, I have read a lot of forums where people all around Europe and the US are looking for the show with subtitles because, sadly, we don’t know any Norwegian (not by hearing and not by reading). I know the show was meant to be for Norwegian teens as a target audience and it would probably be a really hard work to translate the already existent Norwegian subtitles to the many languages that want to watch and understand the show but I’ve been thinking that maybe it would be possible to translate them to a kind of «universal language» and I feel like English would be nice (even if that is not my first language I think that many young teens are learning English in Europe as their second language: Italy, Spain, France, Germany… so we would probably get to understand most of the things going on).
I feel like this comment is not going to be published because I am not talking about the show itself, but anyway I just wanted to state that many teens on Europe are waiting to watch this if they could understand the language or having access to subtitles in order to understand 😛
Thanks to the creators and the actors for bringing up such a beautiful show.
Unfortunately NRK does not have the rights to translate to English – if they do so, they are in breach of their music license. This came out in the news recently. They apparently have to delete translations made by the public too..

A channel has to buy the rights for the show in order to translate the subtitles. In Denmark a danish channel has bought the rights to show Skam and to make subtitles in danish. If the interrest is big enough in other contries, channels might consider buying the rights too. Maybe try writing to some of the youth tv channels in your country? 🙂
I was going to write to a contact at endemol for channel 4 in the UK and ask them to buy it as I think it would be a ratings winner here. But no point now it’s ending. 🙁

Hey, I don’t think they should speak English in it. It would be nice if they could put subtitles in English. But it would be so strange if they suddenly talk English. Skam is Norwegian. Yes, I don’t think they should speak English, not at all. Norwegian it’s a beautiful language and I am glad that they use their own language because my ears get used to hear other wonderful languages moreover than Spanish and English. Which is absolutely great! I posted that comment when it was not that «easy» to find subtitles on other languages for the show. Then, a month later or so everything exploded and Skam became the huge phenomenom it is right now.

That´s so true. I´m from Denmark And here we have some of it on a tv channel and the rest of the series we have to watch in Norwegian but I´ve watch it all and i think it was good to see something in another language than english and danish cuz now I can understand and read and talk a little bit of Norwegian.
So true i’m from Denmark too and we are so lucky that Danish and Norwegian is more alike. but it takes some getting use to when you go from Danish to Norwegian. Now i’m running around at home and speaking Norwegian and my family are so tired of me. but i dont care because the serie is really great

I recommend everyone watch it, even if you’re an adult or a teenager. Guys, my hat is off to the whole creators and actors. Thank you very much for had filmed this serie. <3

Hi I’m from China, I saw episodes with English subtitles on YouTube and we have ones with Chinese titles as well. 🙂 Anyway I’m studying Norwegian myself now, it’s absolutely a beautiful language and I’m trying to read texts in the show because sometimes they are not translated. There are fanmade English subtitles to be found on youtube. I believe you just have to find each clip alone. Apart from that, in fan groups and in comments threads people ask for details in the dialogue, and people with knowledge of Norwegian slang or of Arabic – or just with better hearing – help figuring out what is said.
I even found a Brasilian site with Portuguese subtitles. So there’s a good chance you can find Spanish enthusiasts, too, if you look for them.
someone has uploaded links to all the episodes withe english translations on tumblr. just search up skam episodes and you should be able to find something – that’s where i watch all of them =)

Hi skam-crew. I just want to start by saying that i absolutely love skam. I just found it recently and I literally watched season 1&2 in one night! (you know, when i was supposed to sleep)
I also want to thank you for opening up my eyes for Norway. I am from Denmark, and you would think that it is easy for a Dane to understand norwegian, but that is not the case. I think the only reason i understood what they were saying in the series, was bc of the subtitles. As a dane i think it is much easier to read norwegian, than to talk and understand it, but by watching skam, i can know watch whole episodes whiteout subtitles. Sure, I do not understand every single word, but I get what they mean. I have even started using words as dritt, drittsekk, jævlig, rasshøl etc. etc. Skam has really made me way more interested in Norway and Scandinavia in general. So thanks!
Now for my question; Who is singing in the episode, where Noora is playing the guitar at William´s? Is it Josefine herself? bc i am really in love with that voice (and the scene, too!) and I would like to hear more music from that same artist, if it is not josefine herself (I would off also like to listen to the music if it is Josefine, but i have not found any music, that she has produced so far).
Side note: It would be awesome (and superhot!) if Chris(toffer) got a season of his own, and then it could be about what he wanted in his life from now on, and he and Eva could be together (They could anyway, bc hot af). I realize that this probably will not happen, as it probably has to be about students at Hartvig Nissen videregående skole, but you could get that side of the story through Eva. Anyways, it was just an idea!

Jeg er selv mamma, og synes serien er kjempe bra i forhold til at ungdom i dag kan kjenner seg der igjen, og gjennom serien reflektere over ting de er opptatt av. Jeg skulle virkelig oenske den kunne komme paa tysk TV her. Den ville blitt en kjempe Suksess tror jeg!!!!
