The only reason why this show wouldn’t make it big in the US is because Americans are not keen on reading subtitles the whole time, so it would need to be in english. NRK should have english translations though so people from all over could be able to watch it.

First of all I think Skam is wonderful, the actors, the dialogs (I obviously watch it with subtitles, but the main idea is beyond the translation), the music, the way each character is developed and characterized. Truly amazing.
Going into the more controversial topic, I believe it would be really useful for non-Norwegian speakers to have the possibility to watch it with subtitles, but not to be spoken in English. Why? Because I believe this show is a good example that there is no need for the «product» to be made in Hollywood or in Great Britain to be successful. People from all over the world are attached to something so well produced and thought that the place where it comes from really doesn’t matter. Besides, the audience that it was thought for were the Norwegian teens and young adults mostly. Also it’s really refreshing to have something that can entertain me and teach me something too! It teaches me about another culture and problems of a society I don’t truly know and I find that fascinating! I come from a different continent, with different ideals and different values, and different problems.
Skam producers, actors, cameramen, everyone involved in making this great show, thank you and keep up the good work!

I love this serial, but the only thing I do not like is that overlook the development of relations between Chris and Eve. In the third season they have shown them together three times and each scene lasted no longer than 15 seconds, and I very want to know what happened happened to them during this time that Chris felt in love with Eve, and Eva felt in love with Chris, it’s unfortunately lost. After all, judging by the last series we can see that they’re together. I hope that the creators of the series will read this and devote more time to these two characters. In any case, this is my favorite show and I am very grateful to you for what you have written it.

I am from Ukraine. I watched a lot of serials, but this one totally my favorite. I felt in love at the beginning and I still can’t stop watching it again and again. Just for me there is only a few minuses: 1. I can’t read their correspondences, 2. My favorite season was about Eva. but they can’t make 2 season about Eva. But everything else is amazing!!!!!!
